My local nature reserves
Nature reserves are certainly not the only suitable places for wildlife photography, but they are definitely a good place to start and to sharpen your skills - and worth supporting for their benefits to wildlife and the environment.
Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust reserves
Hampshire Wildlife Trust reserves
RSPB reserves
Gosport Wildgrounds
Titchfield Haven
